In this simple manual, we would like to share on how to update Bitdefender Antivirus manually from your local computer. 


  1. In your desktop, please right-click at the Bitdefender Icon (bottom right). Then, click “Show”. Please refer picture below:-
  2. "Bitdefender Endpoint Security Tools" will appear. Click the icon as shown in the picture below.
  3. Then, just click the “Check for Updates” icon. Refer picture below.
  4. You can see that the Update status should be “in progress” like in the picture below:-
  5. After a few seconds, the status should be completed successfully. Congratulations, your Bitdefender Antivirus now is updated


NOTE 1: Most of the computers already installed with the latest antivirus updates, however, we found that some computers not fully updated with the latest antivirus pattern (virus definition and vaccine). 

NOTE 2: According to the Bitdefender Support Team, this is due to the Malaysia’s unstable internet connection (intermittent) at some places (branches). Therefore, it is advisable to us to update it manually to all of your computers.
